spelling tulsa frontwards...or backwards.

I'm on a roadtrip. This time, I do have to thank my owner for not forgetting me anywhere so far, and we've been to a lot of fun places. I went to a Starbucks, had a fun time at the rest stop pet areas and I've taken a lot of naps. Feel free to be jealous.

Before we left, I had to make sure that my precious Panda food was well-preserved in the Focus. You see, I've done a lot of handy-work and I can tell when things are done right. After a few tweakings, I found that we, in fact, were ready to go!
We did, however, make some stops. We got out of the car and went to my favorite place: Starbucks!
I look so good up here. I should totally be their spokespanda.
As our trip wears on, I continue to be used for a pillow. I don't think they understand that my Panda insides actually are squished like this! Oh well...I like to cuddle. This is basically like cuddling.
At least they stopped at Panda-friendly rest areas for me!
I can't wait to continue on to Tulsa- wish me luck my friends, and hopefully I won't be 'napped like last time I was in the midwest! Tomorrow we hit Nebraska..the bane of my existance.

poolside at the planet.

...and the saga continues, my human friends.

So, we left off at the airport. I think it is important here to note that although I've traveled a lot with my owner, I've never actually been to somewhere quite like the land of Las Vegas. I mean, there are people. everywhere. I really didn't know what to expect, but my owner was sure excited to go. The saying rings true for me, at least... what happens in vegas stays there!

We checked into our hotel called "Planet Hollywood." It really didn't look like its own planet, and as far as I know, we weren't in Hollywood..but like I said, this place is completely different than Seattle, the place I call home! The first day, we were poolside ALL DAY LONG. We had a lot of fun scouting for Holly Madison, and I feel like I got some color on my panda fur. My owner totally turned dark, and I felt like I wouldn't be able to recognize her at the end of the weekend!

I also caught up on my celebrity gossip, and learned about the best swimsuit for my body type..

too bad I don't look like any of these models! Maybe next year...
Anyway, I learned a lot. Apparently Jen Aniston has lost seven pounds. Little does she know, this Panda eats 7 pounds of bamboo per day.

I also tried out a new profession: Lifeguarding!

Needless to say, I'd rather be a professional blogger. Being a lifeguard with this much fur is NOT a great idea. I did like the whistle though. Unfortunately, my lung capacity was a little lacking to give it a good puff. After I tired of this profession, I hung out in my misting tent, enticing the ladies with my bright yellow lounge.

Although I look lonely here, I definitely got the attention. :] Ladies love me.

So, my friends, here's the million dollar question: do I look a little more tan?

Stay tuned for Day 2!

i survived!

How many Pandas can say that they survived Vegas? Well, my friends, I can honestly say that I have. And I cannot WAIT to go back. My owner says I may get lucky in june or july..but knowing her, she's just pulling my leg. Let me recap all of my exciting adventures with you, readers!

First, how legit are these seats? I love airport terminals. These are so roomy for a Panda like me. I feel bad for people like my owner - she has a really hard time getting comfortable..but she also can't get comfy in her own bed so maybe I don't feel that bad. Plus, she brought me, so I shouldn't bash her too much. Anyway, all four of us flew out of Seattle..and boarded the plane! You'd think they would let me board early, but when I asked the flight attendant, she said no - that I had obviously flown before. Rude. Just because I'm from China doesn't mean I CAME from there, especially on an airplane!

My owner loves me. She showers me with kisses...

but I had a lot of business to take care of. Especially if I was hanging out with HER all weekend.

let me tell you - being a panda is very difficult on the airplane. Needless to say, it isn't very accommodating. The chairs are too high, the desks to plastic and the worst part? The "snack packs" they give out are not fit for this guy. I was a little bummed. They really should have thought about that - why couldn't the seats be more like the ones in the terminal? Everything though, turned out okay and we landed in Vegas! This is where the adventure really started.

Look at my friend I found in the Vegas Airport! He was very friendly, and even let me sit on top of him. As soon as I got to the airport, I knew Vegas was the place for me. :]

Stay tuned for more adventures, Vegas style!

vivaaaaaa las vegas!

Hello Friends! I know it's been awhile, buuut I wanted to let you know about this way cool vacation I'm going on. My owner is taking me to Vegas! We are going with her friends, Tina and Brett who apparently "looove" each other. I'm happy for them...really! My owner seems to think this will be a vacation. I think its something worth writing about...so get excited for the installment of VEGAS....this panda is goin' back!

I packed my party-panda clothes!! Time to get on the plane...

for the love of detoxing.

I know it is a bit late in the game to celebrate New Years, but I figure...well, New Years isn't over for another 352 days [don't even get me started on the Chinese Calendar..]! So friends, let me tell you about how this panda celebrates New Years.

For 2010, I wanted to do something pretty exciting, considering 2009 ended with me stuffed in a box and in the plains in the middle of nowhere. As much as I love my Hudson and Macy...those giants just don't play nice! Anyway, my owner stuffs me in her purse once we were safely in Portland and we go to this party...full of Russians. Now, I'm not sure how anyone here feels about Russians, but they really know how to get down! This was one of the best parties I've been to, and there were only about 12 of us there! We had a sit down meal with a bunch of panda-friendly foods, and then we had a dance dance party to some Russian music. My favorite part, though, was when we got to blow the streamers at midnight and drink Champagne! Let me tell you - I'm pretty sure I had a liver before that night..now I just feel like I'm stuffed full of polyester! I'm definitely detoxing for the next 2 months. Only bamboo for me, please! Enjoy the pictures of me getting down with my panda self and my new Russian friends!

I love streamers. And anything shiny. Apparently my owner likes to wiggle the camera while capturing my profile.

Dance Dance! I should really be on that TV show Dancing with the Stars...this panda would win every time!

Here's me, ringing in the New Year. Do I need that champagne? That's like asking if I have enough crap on my head.
The end of the night. This Panda partied hard, and I hope you all did too!

Happy New Year, everyone! Even if it is 12 days late!
Love, Panda.

home sweet home.

This time, my friends, I got on the plane! It only took two weeks for me to get in there, and also hook myself to my owners backpack so she couldn't POSSIBLY forget me this time. All I wanted, the whole time, was a drink. I waited for.ever.

It never came. The flight attendant apparently thought I wasn't hungry. Doesn't she KNOW how much pandas eat and drink? After I realized I didn't get to eat or drink anything, I busied myself looking at SKYMALL. I love that magazine!

Too bad that Snuggie is not in my size. I need the dog-sized one!Oh well, maybe one day I'll be so lucky to procure one. I didn't realize how much I'd want one when I was stuck in a pillow with one..now I feel like I can't live without one! Dear Santa, next year, I'd LOVE a snuggie. :] xo, Panda.

i'm dreaming of a white christmas!

Hello Friends! I had the BEST christmas ever this year, and even got to have some playtime around the house. It is so nice to be with people I know after the traumatic events of the last week. I had fun playing Hide-and-Seek with my family...

Let me tell you, I'm a sneaky Panda! They took forever to find me. Once they did, they thought it'd be really funny and take pictures instead of helping me out. You should have seen all the pine needles on me when I was finally rescued! I will never, ever, get into a tree willingly again! We did a lot of fun things after that, like open presents. I helped my owner, and she got this really cool round thing. I'm not exactly sure what it is for, but it makes a good lounger for a lazy panda!
Don't I look amazing?! I should model whatever it is I'm sitting in. All I know is that it is definitely made for a panda like me! I also saw it go into the oven and make something everyone called MonkeyBread. All I know is that it was magical, and if I had the chance, I could have eaten all of it!

This stuff was EPIC. I definitely will be leaving my owner notes to make this again! Anyway, moving on to other things I did on Christmas Day..I made a gingerbread house! I was under the impression that after making said house, I'd get to decorate the inside. After all I am a gay panda! That said...I was severely disappointed when I couldn't even look through the windows!

I think this was the lamest thing to do on the holidays. What's the point of decorating something if you can't FIT inside it?! These humans...they've got some thinking to do. Anyway, after all that fun work I fell asleep. Christmas is a hard holiday - lots of eating, drinking, and sleeping! Not bad, not bad. I suppose I'll stay around another year and see what happens next Christmas!
