poolside at the planet.

...and the saga continues, my human friends.

So, we left off at the airport. I think it is important here to note that although I've traveled a lot with my owner, I've never actually been to somewhere quite like the land of Las Vegas. I mean, there are people. everywhere. I really didn't know what to expect, but my owner was sure excited to go. The saying rings true for me, at least... what happens in vegas stays there!

We checked into our hotel called "Planet Hollywood." It really didn't look like its own planet, and as far as I know, we weren't in Hollywood..but like I said, this place is completely different than Seattle, the place I call home! The first day, we were poolside ALL DAY LONG. We had a lot of fun scouting for Holly Madison, and I feel like I got some color on my panda fur. My owner totally turned dark, and I felt like I wouldn't be able to recognize her at the end of the weekend!

I also caught up on my celebrity gossip, and learned about the best swimsuit for my body type..

too bad I don't look like any of these models! Maybe next year...
Anyway, I learned a lot. Apparently Jen Aniston has lost seven pounds. Little does she know, this Panda eats 7 pounds of bamboo per day.

I also tried out a new profession: Lifeguarding!

Needless to say, I'd rather be a professional blogger. Being a lifeguard with this much fur is NOT a great idea. I did like the whistle though. Unfortunately, my lung capacity was a little lacking to give it a good puff. After I tired of this profession, I hung out in my misting tent, enticing the ladies with my bright yellow lounge.

Although I look lonely here, I definitely got the attention. :] Ladies love me.

So, my friends, here's the million dollar question: do I look a little more tan?

Stay tuned for Day 2!

i survived!

How many Pandas can say that they survived Vegas? Well, my friends, I can honestly say that I have. And I cannot WAIT to go back. My owner says I may get lucky in june or july..but knowing her, she's just pulling my leg. Let me recap all of my exciting adventures with you, readers!

First, how legit are these seats? I love airport terminals. These are so roomy for a Panda like me. I feel bad for people like my owner - she has a really hard time getting comfortable..but she also can't get comfy in her own bed so maybe I don't feel that bad. Plus, she brought me, so I shouldn't bash her too much. Anyway, all four of us flew out of Seattle..and boarded the plane! You'd think they would let me board early, but when I asked the flight attendant, she said no - that I had obviously flown before. Rude. Just because I'm from China doesn't mean I CAME from there, especially on an airplane!

My owner loves me. She showers me with kisses...

but I had a lot of business to take care of. Especially if I was hanging out with HER all weekend.

let me tell you - being a panda is very difficult on the airplane. Needless to say, it isn't very accommodating. The chairs are too high, the desks to plastic and the worst part? The "snack packs" they give out are not fit for this guy. I was a little bummed. They really should have thought about that - why couldn't the seats be more like the ones in the terminal? Everything though, turned out okay and we landed in Vegas! This is where the adventure really started.

Look at my friend I found in the Vegas Airport! He was very friendly, and even let me sit on top of him. As soon as I got to the airport, I knew Vegas was the place for me. :]

Stay tuned for more adventures, Vegas style!
