thanksgiving on the peninsula!

This year, Thanksgiving was definitely a treat. I got to go back to my hometown of Long Beach Washington and see all of my family and friends. There was one friend I missed the most though, but I'll talk about that later. Not knowing much about this American holiday [I'm from China, remember?!] So, this year it was really fun. I did a lot of fun things like nap with Aunt Lindsay, and Grandma taught me how to carve the turkey! We also had a french family stay with us for a few days and they l.o.v.e.d. me! They kept asking me to hang out..but I don't kno much french so I just sat there.....it was almost like I was stuffed I was so quiet! Let's see some visuals of my amazing weekend in the smallest town ever, shall we?

I tried this new thing called strawberry freezer jam. I don't really know how I feel about it.It was kind of..cold and slimy in my panda mouth. I'd definitely eat it again though. My family tried it on these biscuits..and it looked really yummy, but I was saving room for pie. :]
I helped grandma bake all of our food - it was my turn to check on it. I decided it was time for everything to come out the oven. I'm such a helpful panda!

Since I was one of the only males in the house, I got to carve the turkey! I was very precise...even though I didn't enjoy any the turkey for the simple fact that I'm a veggie....I did enjoy the smells wafting from the oven and the rest of the kitchen!

I was the wine master this week - we had whites and reds for days! I had this bottle all to myself - and boy, it was good! The french told me that whoever drinks the last glass in the bottle will be married by the end of the year. That sure excited some people at the table....

Some of you have met my life partner, Hippo. We weren't able to spend American Thanksgiving together, so I wrote him a note to mail to Bellingham where he is with his owner. I miss Hippo a lot! I can't wait to see him tomorrow!

I was also assigned whipped cream duty. Little does everyone know how much this PANDA loves whipped cream! I didn't share with anyone.... :]

Those were the highlights of my weekend...stay tuned for more!
